On Becoming My Dream Woman

My brother was going through his closet this morning and held up a tie. He said “I’m dying to wear this tie! It’s the perfect skinny tie, just the right width! I just haven’t gotten the opportunity to wear it, yet,” And this got me thinking; We often wait for opportunities to show up but what if we created them ourselves? If, instead of waiting for an occasion to look fancy, he just wore the tie any given day, who’s to say that an opportunity would present itself just because he wore it?! By setting the intention of having a million dollar day, by looking and feeling like a confident and successful businessman he can create the opportunities that he’s looking for. 

The more we buy into the mindset of ‘waiting’ for life to happen to us the less will actually happen. But when we look at our days from a creation standpoint, waking up in the morning thinking, “What would my ideal day be like” we become empowered and can guide our life in the direction that we want!

I promise you, all of the opportunities your could ever dream of are out there! And they are waiting for you! Go out and create the life of your dreams, all it takes is a little imagination! :)

Be The Space For Your Dreams To Grow!

I got this article in my morning email and had to share it! 

Especially at this point in my life, as I’m trying to establish myself, get my thoughts and my dreams out there and build a community, oftentimes anxiety and doubt creep in. I start to wonder, “This is such a huge undertaking, Can I really do this? Can I really make this gigantic dream into a reality?” It becomes overwhelming! But what I need to keep reminding myself of, and I think we all do, is that we do not have to make it happen, we must simply allow it to happen. There truly is no place that I need to get to, no thing that I need to acquire, but all that I need to do is just be myself and trust. I only need to create that space by truly and honestly following my curiosity and passion. 

I choose love and I choose faith.

Take a moment for yourself and think about the kind of life you would give anything to have. Think about the person that you would love to be, your dream house, personality, relationships, body, bank account and profession.
Now think about the kind of situation that you are currently in, the kind of thoughts and beliefs that you have.
Are the two in alignment?
If the answer is kinda, maybe, or not really then I’d like you to think about another question.
Do you expect or believe that having your dream life is possible?
To this question there should only be one answer, and that is yes!

I believe that everything that happens to us in life is the result of an intention that we set, whether it be positive or negative, conscious or unconscious.
I do not believe in accidents or coincidence.
I believe that our thoughts and beliefs always make themselves manifest in our realities, whether you want them to or not.
This means that you have the power and the choice to create your reality!

In order to have a life that truly makes you feel happy and fulfilled you must believe that it is possible and you must decide that you deserve it!
How couldn’t you?! (Refer to my very first post for a little help on this one…)
Helping you feel grounded in the belief that you deserve your dreams is my mission.

I tend to live in my head sometimes and get caught up in my intellectual side but what we can never forget is that life is Embodied! We must love and take care of our bodies just as much as our thoughts and emotions! Our thoughts, feelings and actions are always interconnected and affecting one another. Each is essential and should be given equal amounts of care :)

Let’s see how far courage and faith can take me. 

Today is day one of a potentially life changing experiment. I will do nothing but dream in every moment, think of only the best, only what I love, no more complaints, no more problems. Every obstacle becomes a challenge and every challenge a game. I’ve come to see that life is nothing but a game that we play, a story that we tell ourselves. Wanna change the rules, change the story.
